Sure it works. Today, there are hospitals in the USA where some doctors are being trained in Reiki so that they can use it on their patients. Reiki works ALONG with other therapies and enhances their effect.

My relative who's a doctor has also observed that whenever she gives reiki to a patient, he/ she heals twice as fast as others, and there is much lesser pain as well.

Many of my patients have also experienced relief, especially in cases where allopathy ceases to help, like sinusitis, common cold, etc

Whether it is healing hands or reiki it is all the believe the person who is getting healed is having on the healer as well on the healing system adopted. It is the conditioning of the mind that really heals rather than the mechanism that is adopted. It is so with prayers.

Yes. Reiki moves the energy around in your body. It moves it from the strong points to the weak ones. You feel relaxed and energized after a Reiki treatment.

The person doing the session gives you energy. You decide what to use it for, if you use it at all. People now need to take responsibility for their own healing and not passively go to someone and say "fix me"--fix me doesn't work anymore. Your attitude has to be "help me fix myself." If you stay in victim consciousness and think the illness is outside you and so is the healing, nothing will help you.

I have a family member who is a practitioner of that. They tried to use it on me to get rid of a migraine. I was in alot of pain so I would have tried anything in that moment.

It didn't work.

Yes they do, but you must be willing to accept the healing.
