The author in question was male and as I remember was the son of a famous Jazz musician. The book was set in England and told the story of a boy who discovers a secret society made up of his fellow pupils who are plotting to take over his school. The secret society is being run by a girl who goes by the code name of Mistress K and part of the story involved them secretly re-enforcing the roofs of the school buildings to allow helicopters to land. I reckon it was published between 1976 and 1982 so if anyone could help I'd greatly appreciate it, thanks.

I consider you, yet once you tell any of the Askers that actual description does not matter -- that they could desire to call the character based upon what the character's mothers and dads could come to a call or names which have been uncomplicated to the term/region -- the Asker gets p*ssed and says something like whilst you're no longer likely to truly answer their question, **** off. unquestionably, i believe it relatively is youthful, extra green writers who do this. i do no longer bear in mind ever employing YA! to look for names, yet I do bear in mind in center college frequently surfing the information superhighway, finding for names which related to my character's objective, character, etc. Naming a character is very like naming a toddler, and additionally you would be conscious youthful mothers and dads (and picture stars) are extra companies to giving their babies ridiculous names. whilst green writers think of of names, they think of, "what's unique? What sounds cool and distinct? What suits this character?" mutually as extra matured writers think of, "What makes the main sense? What could this character's mothers and dads call their toddler?" purely as green writers are going to ask you for character's names or critiques on character names, green writers are going to respond to those form of questions heavily. no person knows the spectacular call, yet anybody has an opinion. You, know-how the pointlessness of such questions, for sure discover it ridiculous, however the folk who ask and answer nonetheless believe that it is considerable to. additionally, they could purely choose a maximum suitable answer.
