My son Rajiv had a letter or fantasy he wrote and I found it disturbing. He is 16 years old and he was talking crazy in the letter. He mentioned sitting on his couch nude and masturbating to Hilary Duff? Who is duff. His fantasy was a degrading one as she was calling him all kinds of names as he was doing this. He is such an innocent boy who just came from India. I am worried now. He was talking so bad. He kept saying that she was calling him tiny and waving her pinky at him. What the heck is that? Can someone help me? Should I send him back to India?

It is perfectly normal for teenage boys to fantasize about things that turn them on. They are simply relieving sexual needs. There is no need to over react to something so minor that I wouldn't even call it a problem. Are you going to tell people "I sent my son all the way back to India because he wrote a dirty letter"? He will grow out of it as he gets older.

PS. Hillary Duff is a young American actress and singer.

Hilliary Duff is a young attractive female music and movie star. He sounds like a normal 16 year old boy who needs some guidance. Talk to him not to embarrass but to understand his feelings

Oh my.... well at 16 boys (at least those in North America) have either discovered or are just dicovering their sexuality. This may be what your son wants regardless of what you want. I know as a parent that would disturbe me quite a bit. North America is notorious for sexual innuendo and slamming children with sex on the television.
Now i am in no way saying that you should lock him up or take him to seek councelling. if it would make you feel better to talk to someone my email is flameon1984@yahoo.ca.....breathe!!

He is a male. It sounds like he may have some deepy embedded emotional issues that he needs to work on. . .unfortuantly, you (as his mother) are not going to be the person who will be able to help him work on it. There needs to be an "outside force" in his life. . .likely male. . . to rely on for that kind of talk. Some men never share those thoughts. . .but, you did say that you found a letter??? Who was the "letter" to? It's healthy that he recognizes himself sexually. It's a great thing that he feels comfortable enough with it to write it down. It may be negative for you to tlak to him about it. He is 16 years old and in a very exploratory faze in his sexuality. . . As it may strange to you. . .there are a lot of sexual desires out there that you may not understand and luckily do not have to. It would be in your best interest and his to leave this one be.

Fory (Also a mother)

Good luck

I think you let him know that you found the letter and let him talk to you about it. Peer pressure and the media have so much influence on our children today. They need to be taught what is right, healthy etc. So, approach him and listen to what he has to say about the letter.
