Liberals, isn't bombing Al Qaeda in Somalia only helping to create brand new terrorists by the thousands?

this is one of the stupidest arguments I see from liberals. the terrorists recruit people to make more terrorists and they seem to not think of this. So if we dont do anything more terrorists will be made too. "IF" our killing them makes more not killing them doesn't make less. this is the whole point. we are not just going around killing people for no reason. We have rules of engagement and while we are searching for the insurgents we are also helping the everyday people of Iraq to learn how to live in freedom away from the tyrannical rein of dictators that say their problems are due to the USA. we are creating more opposition to the terrorists in their religion which is the only way to stop their killing Ideology. If we do nothing then that opposition wont grow either. I know logic is tough for some but this is not that hard to understand. Look past all the negative on your news stations, their is good going on.

Well, the Ethiopian army with the help of non-radical Muslims Somalis were doing a great job of killing all the radical Muslims/Al Qaeda in Somalia without any US military help and they would have killed all the Al Qaeda there too if the Bush hadn't needed a big PR win before his speech tonight & yet there is no confirmation of who or how many he killed & the US military can't go into Somalia to find out.

Who knows but the terrorist must be taken down. When people try to take gangs out of their neighborhoods they increase the violence of the gangs too but does that mean you should sit back and let them take over? This country was fought for and won by brave people who would fight for justice and it can only be maintained in a free state by more of that attitude. Libs are well meaning people who need to understand that everyone in the world are not (such as Al Qaeda). Some people will not listen to cries for peace and negotiations.

I think that we owe Al Qauda for their doings of terrorist attacks in America. But don't get confused, Somalia don't really care much for Al Qaeda, Al Qaeda has just been blending in with the civilians so they wont get spotted

I don't have enough info to say that the bombing is bad or not. if our ememies (terrortists) are there we need to get them one way or another.

but I do also believe we need to stop alienating ourselves. not jsut from people who we don't see eye to eye with, but from our own allies.

historically and from a social science perspective, most wars could have been prevented if people would just talk and agree to disagree.
like with this war-if terrorists would have done so (agree to disagree) we wouldn't have been attacked.
