How can Bush think that by Policing the world, especially Iraq, he will save it from the evil doers? Doesn't he see that by policing the world he is only causing more animosity towards the US? How can he justify needing 20,000 more troops in Iraq when everything that has been done so far is a failure? I really hope the democrats can stop his insane justifications for saving the world.

What do you propose we do? Let the world go into chaos and just hope it doesn't cross into our borders? Oops... too late, we already tried that strategy once. The democrats want to pull out of Iraq completely... oh they also want to reinstate the draft (what was once promised to the American public that it would never be brought back). I agree mistakes have been made there but it would be a bigger mistake to leave that mess as it is and pull out. Would you have the world saying "look what they create then leave behind for everyone else to clean up."

It's not just the Democrats who need to step up. . it's American people as a whole. No one can seem to get along long enough to get something done in this world today. We all need to come together and stand up and let our leaders be held accountable and let them know what WE want for our country and our world today.

you all elect to denigrate bush and yet in 2001 he had an approval score of "ninety two" the optimum ever in this united states of america so all the frightened voted him in for a 2d time era and now he has the backside approval score in this international locations historic past. in simple terms historic past will coach if he replaced right into a foul president or a super one.

The democrats can't stop him sending over more troops. He wants to do it, he can do it. Congress can stop funding for the troops, but that would unjustly hurt the troops.

We're losing the war in Iraq whether we send more troops or not. When we do leave, we'll be back there in a year or two later fighting again.

We're in a MESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! God help us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The world needs policing, sorry. Who's gonna do it? The UN? They're spineless, useless, corrupt, and dominated by dictatorships.

You don't want the world saved from evil-doers? Don't you believe evil-doers exist?

"Causing more animosity towards the US" ... animosity from evil-doers? That's a good thing. Animosity from people who like doing business with evil-doers? That's fine, too. Animosity from people who are wrong.

More troops in Iraq ... duh, maybe the problem is not enough troops! Maybe we were being restrained. A very good tactic in war is "overwhelming force." War is hell, but it's sometimes good and necessary.

Think a little, please?

It's not up to the Democrats to change things, it is up to the people, ALL of the people in the US to voice their opposition to President Bush's political policing. Be you republican, liberal, democrat, green, independent, whatever. Speak up!
