I think it is great that you are letting the 8 year old add his input. You are at least considering it for the baby to be, that alone means more than you think to the child. As for the name, LOVE IT, but like others have suggested maybe change the spelling a bit so it is easier to pronounce for teachers, friends, etc to save some embarrassing moments in the childs life. Trust me kids are cruel these days. And if you decide not to use it as a first name, then you could always use it as a middle name.

Aww he means well but the name is weird it sounds like something that would be used for a baby from India so if thats where your from it may work lol.I would tell him its a great name but it may be hard for her to spell and have him help pick another "K" name if he likes it to start with that letter. What we did in our family my hubby and i made lists of all the names we liked and had our older kids pick two that they liked and we made a list of everyones picks and the two that got the most votes we kept until baby was born and we decided on the name when we saw what the baby looked like.

I agree with most of the responses, it's too hard to pronounce. Kids in school will probably make fun of your child. If you want your boyfriend's son to be involved in the naming of you daughter, why don't you pick a few names and then let him help you narrow it down - or let him give your daughter her middle name. That way it gives you more control and he still feels involved.

Horrible. It sounds like the name of a breakfast cereal or some sort of disease. How in the world do you pronounce it???Teachers will always mispronounce it, and the other kids will laugh. Why set this child up for a lifetime of frustration. Seriously, what are you thinking ????

Kasarash? Yeah it sounds like "Kiss a rash" or "cash a rash".... not a very nice name....
now Ka-Saur-rah is a pretty name but maybe spelled differently like kasarah.

An 8 year old should not be in charge of naming a baby. Sorry, I don't care for that name at all.

It sounds like Que Sera Que Sera which means "what could it be" or "what could it mean" in Spanish. I don't think it's a good name at all. Sorry.

I agree with the majority here----its a horrible name. Ask yourself---would YOU want this for YOUR name??? It sounds like Ka-sa-rash or catch a rash-----please pick a name yourself and let the kid name his fish.

I can't figure out how to pronounce it. Giving it to a kid will probably lead to a lifetime of frustration when it can't be pronounced when seen, or spelled when heard.
