friend was arrested on misdemeaner marijuana poss. in Texas he failed to appear in court,jumped bond and fled the state what is the statute of limitations on this being dropped or whatever, it has been 6 possibly 7 years ago?

Actually the statue of limitations does not apply to this situation, it applies to the period of time for him to be charged. If he was charged and jumped bail 50 years ago still would not matter, so long as charges were filed within the statue of limitations. In practice he will probably be arrested and the charges dismissed if by some chance evidence is lost or witnesses cannot be produced. The bond jumping is much easier to prove though and only requires proof that he did not show up to address the charges.

they have been dropped......bond jumping, unlawful flight, possession of drugs... this loser who is you if everybody hasn't figured it out yet, has been picked up or pulled over several times in the past six years. no bench warrant has ever been issued
