Whats the first thing you do when you get to work?

I usually check my email first.

turn computer on, but don't touch it. walk around basically all the cubicles and offices. talk to people, get some water, usually back at my desk 1/2 hour later.

EXCEPT fridays, they take longer because i started a new tradition here at work, its called HI-FIVE friday, i give everyone i come across a hi-five and tell them its hi-5 friday. you should try it, people here love it. they always look at me weird but it brings a smile to everyone's face

Check my EMAIL. Then go to Yahoo Answers, then work LOL

I sit in the parking lot and wait in my car for one of the "trusted" people to come and unlock the door so that I can actually start working, then when the door is unlocked, I turn on my computer and go to the restroom, because I have been waiting...I am not too bitter

I visit the bathroom, I then order my coffee and only when I have finished drinking it, do I open my email........oh, and I forgot to add, that I start work after all that!

Focus straight in front of me, visually take in who I'll be working with that day, clock in, hang purse and coat, say hi to boss, put apron on, dive in head first. C what needs to be done to prep for shift and get it down.

first i get a cup of coffee, then i check email, then i check myspace, then i come to yahoo answers.

5 am at hotel or airport - check email, answer email, put out fires, start fires, etc.

before 5 am it is all blackberry - simple yes, no, i don't know, i don't care answers
