I have a Gilera RC125 RALLY (1990) 2 stroke

Did you hook up the end of the throttle cable into the slide? What did you do to clean it? Did you remove everything completely off and soak it for a day and blow it out with air? You may have got something loosened up and now it's blocking a passage.

The needle and seat are probably stuck.Tap the carb with the end of a screw driver a couple times,clean the spark plug and give it a try.

Float is stuck, tap the carb w/ plastic hammer. spray wd 40 on the carb. works as starting fluid.

check the area for tiny parts. if you lose a singlr part to a carbourator, it wont start.

you put the float in upside down,take it back apart and turn the float over
