From what I've read in "legitimate" books about pregnancy, it is said that it is a myth that a baby delivered in the eighth month would be at higher risk.

It is said that every additional week the baby has to develop will add to the baby's chances of good health and survival.

Also, just a note: I had one premie, and the second baby threatened to be a premie as well. My doctor was clearly very nervous about it, and each week he's tell me how to get to the large, city, hospital by ambulance if I went into labor. When I got to 34 weeks along he seemed to breathe a sigh of relief and said it would at that point be safe to go to the little community hospital, but the baby would still need special care. When the baby arrived at 37 weeks it was considered having reached full term, but even then she was smaller than she would otherwise have been.

My point is, I had a week-by-week update on the gradually decreasing risks of delivering early as each week passed. It was clear to me that that doctor never saw a time when it would have been safer to have had the baby earlier rather than another week or two later.

Yes cause in the 7th month the baby turns head down then in the 8th month the baby is turning around and most likely is not head down . It is harder to deliver in the 8th month due to have breech baby and stuff like that . it is safest to wait to deliver minimum of 37 weeks try to make it through your whole pregnancy . I delivered my daughter at 37 weeks and she was posterior meaning she came out looking face up instead of face down . I don't know if this is cause I delivered early or not .
