There is a Gaming wireless router made by NetGear as well as one by Linksys ( the better one). The only other option is cable it on. Wireless is better.

Buy a switchable hub router. You can get a 5 port for $27.86 from the link below. You'll need a few lengths of cat 5 as well, a 6' to go to you computer, and a 50' to go to the network adapter on your PS2.

Ok, this is pretty simple. I did this myself but from top floor to main floor. Buy a D-link. You can get one pretty cheap. I got mine for about 20 bucks. Then pick up a 25 foot network cable. You'll have to go to the ps2 website to get the gateways that you will have to open in order for the ps2 to link thorugh the d-link, but it's a pretty quick process. In total, it took me less than half an hour to set it all up.
Hope it helps!

I believe there is a wireless setup available by the Playstation people themselves. Netgear and Linksys also has wireless setups but i'm not exactly sure if it was made for ps2 platforms.
