I am working with an automotive company for 2 yrs now. want to change over to SAP?

But my dilemma is that everyone tells me it is a gr8 career and at the same time they tell me it is difficult to find the first job since i am not from IT field. So should i leave my job and do SAP course. What will be my chances of getting a job?? plz help me as i am becoming very confused and frustated over it!!!
