Wherever you think it's going to go.

I think it's all about belief. If you close your eyes and envision where you will be if you died right now then that's where your going cause that's your perception. Of course it changes all the time for people. '-)

Sole: the underside of the foot

It stays with the body.

Soul: the immaterial part of a person; the actuating cause of an individual life

Depending on your religion depends on what you believe happens. In truth, nobody really knows, but we will all find out when we die.

Your "sole" is on the bottom of your shoes. Your "soul" on the other hand goes wherever you believe it goes. Some believe in Heaven and Hell others believe that your soul becomes a spirit that sticks around to look out for other people in your family that you love and care for

My soles are on the bottom of my shoes. They'll probably go to a landfill long before I die.

Your sole stays on your shoe.

Your soul goes to where it belongs based upon your religion and beliefs.

I never thought about it, but I guess they would go with my shoes to Good Will or Salvation Army with all my clothes and stuff. However, if you are talking about Soul then that is different.

Your SOUL will hopefully go where you want it to. Your SOLE will remain on the bottom of your shoe!

Do you mean 'soul'?? To imply 'it' goes somewhere means you believe soul has substance or form. Soul is the essence of who you are and therefore I expect 'it' must vanish with death.
If you choose to believe that your essence carries on, then you may believe it goes anywhere you wish!!!
