I all of a sudden got this urge to be in a theatre production.

Of course Not!!!! I only wish I was 19 again. You are very young, and this would be the perfect time to start. I also say, you are never to old to follow your heart. GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

haha funny you ask this, I am 19 and also have just gotten the same urge. I plan to take a theatre class in college just to test the waters. I think we're both young and this is a prime age to start. Best of luck!

You're not too old until you're dead. Take some drama classes at a community college (or whatever college you're going to, if you are). Audition for a local or student production of something. And good luck!

There is no such thing as "too old" or "too young"! You may not a director's first choice for "On Golden Pond" , but there are plenty of roles available to you -- especially if you findyou can play an age range, i.e. believably play characters as young as 17 (for example) or as old as mid-twenties.
Go For It, dude! And break a leg!!

yeah she is right I know this lady that didn't get her masters degree until she was in her late 40's. I'm convinced it's never too late. Good luck.
