Some people are taught to hate, yes. They see other people, especially their parents, being hateful and they follow suit.

Hate can also come from being mistreated or done wrong. People learn to hate people who take advantage of them, abuse them, or do them some other injustice.

Some people are also just naturally mean-spirited people. I'm not sure how they wind up that way, whether it's the nature of their soul or just something embedded in their DNA.

The same way you learn most things in life, though, I think you learn to hate just the same.

A lot of very religious people learn to "turn the other cheek". Instead of hating those who do them wrong, they pity them, forgive them, pray for them, or reach out to them.

I guess hate really is something that you're taught.

Hope I helped you out a little with this question.

Yes and no.

Hating on a personal level is pretty natural, and I am sure everyone at one point or another has felt that they hate someone that they once loved.

But hating on a general level is taught. If you say that you hate all christians that is taught, if you hate all muslims that is taught.

I think if can be taught or naturally is in you. I don't know if you have heard of the saying It all starts in the woman's womb. The baby becomes the mother such as feeding, emotions, etc. It takes action depending on the mother now when that child is born is when the ability begins to further more. That's why knowledge is the key to stop hate.

That's just what I think find the root of the issue.

Some people may be less inclined to hate, just as some people are less inclined to be loving and kind. I do not think anyone is incapable of hate without being taught, however. Humans have an incredible depth to their emotions. We are capable of great compassion and altruism, as well as the most dispicable hatred and bigotry.

No, both love and hate seems to come naturally. However, holding on to hate is a learned behavior. The more hate we hold on to the more hate over comes us.

Hate can be a learned towards certain individuals as they do mean and/or harmful things to us.

No way! You can hate at a young age..suprisingly young age, but not know what to call the emotion. You must be taught what the emotion is, but you will still feel it even if you don't know what it is.

One does not need to be taught to hate. It is learned though. All by oneself.

You can either be taught to hate, or learn to hate, but we are not born with hate in our veins.

no, it is a natural emotion. but you might be referring to the hatred that happens without justifiable cause. in this case, that has to be taught more or less.
