Yes of course, I think forgiveness is a great thing. Also, no one's perfect. Even if the person wasn't there for something really important and it hurt my feelings or caused harm to me in some way, I will not stay mad forever especially when they show that they have changed and are sorry for their past mistakes. Also, life's just too short to stay mad at someone for not always being there!

I wouldn't expect a loved one to be there 'always' because I want them to have their own life and interests as I want my own life and interests. I don't expect one person to fill all my needs and beleive that both parties are richer for having other people in thier lives. (I'm not talking about sex here.)
I also wouldn't expect someone to change based on my demands. I might ask them for more time and explain my feelings, but I would not make a demand. If I felt I needed something I was not getting I would look elsewhere for it or change my expectations, and possibly my relationship, with that person.

I don't think any of us can be there for our loved ones all the time, whenever they need us. So I don't believe we should expect others to be there all the time and actually come to conclude they don't care for us anymore if they are not there. We should sometimes settle for the good thoughts and regards people have of us.

Actions speak louder than words, and past behaviour is a prediction of future behavior. So it would take some time and a lot of effort on that person's part for me to change my mind.

Yes. You loved one can not always be there for you. That is why we have family and friends. You should always have someone to go to. If your loved one can't be there for you now, they will be later.

I don't know my ex-boyfriend and I was in love, we broke up and now he's with someone new he told me that he would never leave! He never have time for me any more, truthfuly if he would leave her right now I would still be with him, even though he's playing me to the left for this new chick! Its all about how you feel about your loved one! (husband, father, mother, or sister)

Of course. Sometimes people have their own needs, and you need to be there for them even if they don't show it. It's the ups and downs of a friendship. You need balance.

Yes. It is better to forgive than to go to hell. But you should never forget if it's that serious. I
