But if I even hit the letter H my search engin shows a list of everthing I'v ever searched for how do I clear that so that all my business is not all out there when somone else use's my computer to look up something they don't know what I'v been lookin up? please help me all the previous anwsers were great but still did not clear the history but thank you to all who were nice enuf to anwser

Go to Internet> Tools> Internet options>general tab you get browsing History which tells you to delete temporary files,history etc..

Tools > Internet Options > Clear Private Data [or "Clear History"]

At the top of your browser >>> Tools, Internet Options, Content Tab, Auto-complete, clear forms, and uncheck the boxes.

If you are using Google... click on settings/options from the google toolbar.
Your settings for the search box are on the top of the list.
