Did you see the USC Mich game? Not to mention the Florida Freshman QB. I am tired of the penalties in the NFL, and the NCAA doesn't care about the way the game has gotten out of hand. I thought you had to wait to get to the NFL to do some of the stuff these kids are getting away with. (IE the Jim Jones Ballin' stuff, the pointing in the face and taunting, the Jumping up and down and throwing your arms up etc.)

I agree the penalties in the NFL are sensless. I watched the Gators all year. That Freshman QB is always doing the celebrating. It started in the early parts of the year. I don't know why they don't penalize the ones who taunt. That Michigan DB left his feet before the USC reciever crossed the goal line too.

In college the Team can Jump around The guy scoring the TD...but the guy scoring the TD can do the Electric boogolo by himself... The National Championship...im sure they let a lil Excessive Celebrating go on ...but its the National Championship and you can control your Emotions at 18 to 22 yrs old...in a game like that...And the NFL just last year i swear Smith and Johnson had a celebration War the only thing i have heard about Celebrating in the NFL is you cant use the ball as a Prop anymore...

College has tradition and acutally plays football for a reason! They play football to win and in the nfl they play for money. Everything is different when money is on the line. Nfl players are a lot more extreme when they celebrate like look at TO man he is horrible every game he does something like that. College players usually just jump up and down when celebrate and not pull their pants down or fall asleep on a football like in the nfl. The college football tradition is y they get less penalties and they represent their school. I hope that answers ur question.

In college, those are kids who are celebrating. They don't do lots of skits or individual celebrations. As long as the celebration is directed toward the other team or fans, they let the kids celebrate. But in the NFL, players get much more individual and use more taunts. I think this is why they have cracked down more.

Man its college, these guys are playing in the biggest football arenas there are. Hundreds of millions are made off of them playing with talent that obviously belongs and goes to the pros but they are paid nothing. 18-24yr olds probably make up most teams. Let them live, so what if he scores a td and feels like "Ballin!!!!!"(in my jim jones voice).."jumping up and down and throwing your arms up"..wtf is that???..your great auntie does that in church, you do it in the club, "doin it n the park, doin it n the dark ooh yeaaaah!!"..so what man..its a game.

yea the NFL is going crazy with fines for celebrating, but in college they are not aloud to celebrate as much, they can however celebrate as a team, just not choreographed celebration

the NCAA is ran purely on tradition and school spirit, you dont play for the money you dont play for the fame, you simply play the game of football.
NFL is different because they make so much money maybe they want some of it back by fining the players so much.
