No.

Judeo-Christian tradition has taught for thousands of years:
1. Single people should be celibate.
2. Married people should be faithful to each other (adultery is wrong).

The Catholic Church recognizes the power of sex when it teaches, "Sexuality affects all aspects of the human person in the unity of his body and soul."

Chastity means the successful integration of sexuality within the person. A chaste person's body and spirit lives in unity and opposes any behavior that would impair that unity.

Masturbation is contrary to the human dignity of the person and anyone about whom the person has lustful thoughts, and the dignity of human sexuality.

With love in Christ.

Masturbation falls under a category that no one can dictate.

If a priest does masturbate, how would anyone else know unless he said something?

Rules in the Catholic churches are very different now than they once were. Once upon a time, priests had to be celibate and unmarried; nuns had to be unmarried virgins.

As times change, and people's traditions change, so do regulations for people. I have seen priests that are married with children. I know divorced women with children who have joined the convent.

According to Roman Catholic doctrine, masterbation is a "sin" for anybody because it's "end" or teleology is not procreation, but pleasure. That's the official stance.

Now whether or not priests masterbate ... what do you think? If you are in doubt ask any altar boy.

I'm shure with rules against marage, it is hard not to have urges. That is one of the reasons Gos designed the marage relationship. Sex is one of the best way to show your spouse the love you have for them. That is suppost to be for marage only, for you and you spouse are one. Getting onto things... Lust is wrong, not only lust for women, but anything. (house, car, ect.) For lusting after women though Matthew 5:28 states
But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. With all that said, masterbating will only lead to other things. First only pictures will do it, then it moves farther. It can lead to... well we know where it can lead.
As for changing things, yes, the bible has no problem with marage and satisfying your needs. (with your spouse) There should be not reason that men of the church can't marry. Paul writes (He says, his words, not Gods) that if you choose not yo marry, than it would be better. He says this for the reason that any relationship you may have with someone else can pull your attention against God. 1 Corinthians 7 spells it out very well.

Priests (and layperson devout Catholics) are NOT allowed to masturbate to orgasm. Catholics are not allowed to do anything with semen that has no potential to create a baby. Some Catholic books even recommend that when Catholics masturbate for the purpose of sperm donation, or IVF they do so during sex with their wives, into a condom with holes (that way both purposes are satisfied).
Although technically females are allowed to masturbate because they aren't preventing life, the whole lust thing is a no-no.
I know it sounds crazy- I had some laughs reading these books.

If you're a priest and you masterbate, what the hell do you think about? Really, it can't be a woman because it'll count as lust. I mean its a real catch-22 here.

I think priests are allowed to masterbate but only in front of little boys.

No--it states in the bible that spilling ones seed is a sin . If they don't they should and if they do then confession will take away that sin. Who really cares any way.? It is a personal matter.

they should be why not? he touches there to wash himself doesnt he? its better to get that feeling out for the day before he preaches to children. let him do it in private and then wash his hands.

who would know anyway? if they do it they gotta report it? doesnt make sense. and i am sure if he or she were caught they would be embarrassed like the rest of us and get in trouble in the workplace like the rest of us. the church is so contradicting

Sex is promoted by God, people, stop being prude, it feels good so we can produce children.
