you could connect the ps2 directly to your dsl modem. but if you have other computers in the house and want them to be on the network as well, you'll need a router.

Of course you need the adapter that attaches to the back and your ethernet cable (or usb whichever your cable service uses) and you can use a router which will enable you to also use your computer at the same time, just in case you need to communicate with other players online (example: socom navy seals) or you can just connect your cable from you cable modem to your ps2. Have fun!!!!

Once you get the network adaptor it will connect straight to your router using an Ethernet cable(yes, you will need a router). I didn't think they we're that easy or cheap to get but there is one on amazon.co.uk Brand new.

you dont need a router but it will be good cuz you wont have to tranfer your ether net cord back and forth just unplug the ethernet cord from the back of the computer and plug it in the PS2

all u need if u have a good ps2 is a certain cable that u can get from places like gamecrazy or eb games. its pretty cool if u have a good (not almost broken or one that freezes alot) ps2. so go to sites like yp.yahoo.com (yp= yellow pages).
