It may work well as a deicer but do not get any on your paint.Vinegar is an acid and acid and paint do not mix.You can cut the vinegar with as much water as you want still an acid,still burn the paint.Use a scraper or buy a thermal blanket to put on the windshield.Only trouble is some ***#$@& will steal it.If it that big a deal for you buy a bottle ofwindshield washer that is a deice put it in a spray bottle and spray the windsheild by hand.The main stuff in it is alcohol

It would be cheeper to go to a auto parts store and buy windshhield cleaner/deicer for about 2 bucks or less

i,ll put it this way ,it works pretty well ,id just use a 50/50 mix of it though, de-icer works better and dont cost much more ,id just use it,,good luck hope this help,s.
