He must be in love with someone else who really has a hold on him. To suddenly not want his kids, he must be infatuated with someone and doesn't want ANY interference for fear of losing that relationship.
The other possibility is he is very depressed and is trying to escape his current state of being, thinking all will be better if he leaves everything behind.......It never works that way though...try to get him to talk and some help if this is the case.
either way..good luck

Well, there's not much you can do if he doesn't want the children but however he will have to pay child support regardless. Yeah, children are going to be sad about this situation. That is why I suggest that you and the kids go into counseling to help you ease through this transition time. Take a deep breath, this is not the worst thing that could ever happen to you. It takes time to heal the wounds of a broken heart. Get counseling asap!

explain to the children it is not them that has the problem or the cause of the problem that it is something going on with the adults in their life. sometimes staying were it is familiar is good for the kids at this point in time church and family are the ones you should turn to for guidance .there is no cure for a man who thinks he needs something more /better or just different in his life don't beat yourself up over it ,it is a waste of your energy and you need all of that for your kids.
