Sounds like normal coloration to me. Angelfish will go through some colour changes as they get older, and this sounds totally normal.
It is particularly noticeable in black angelfish, in my experience, because although they are hatched black-looking, they can end up brownish or leopard-like.

Of course, keep an eye out for any other symptoms, but I wouldn't worry.

You do not say to your query what number of angels you have got bought so I must wager that you've a minimum of two black and might be one silver. Within a organization of angels, when you've got each sexes gift, 2 of them will pair off evidently. This is the first-rate method to get a couple of angels, you're going to regularly be extra triumphant after they prefer their possess mate. When 2 of them pair off they'll battle all different angels within the tank so as to get them out of the best way. In the wild there is not an predicament given that the undesirable angels simply depart. In your tank they can not do this so the undesirable angel(s) get overwhelmed. The reply to 'who comes out' is useful, any and all angels getting battered. I suspect that the silver has paired of with considered one of your black angels and wishes to spawn. Remove the angel or angels which might be being overwhelmed. Are those doing the thrashing cleansing a plant leaf or tough floor at any place within the tank? That's a certain signal that you've fish that experience paired off and are able to spawn. The handiest conclusive approach of telling when you've got a couple is that you simply get eggs and so they hatch. Getting eggs on my own is not, given that 2 women will spawn in combination despite the fact that when you've got extra than simply 2 angels that is not going to occur until they're all women. Mating a silver and black in combination will furnish a mixture of color styles within the offspring that can exhibit different styles as good as silver and black. The colors that you simply see (i.e the silver and black) are the dominant colors that your fish have. There are many recessive genes (colors/styles) that they is also sporting that aren't displaying. Some of those recessive colors/styles too can exhibit up within the fry so with out realizing the mom and dad of your fish it is not possible to mention what you can get from a pairing. I might say despite the fact that that you're not going to get Koi specimens among the offspring. You say that your tank is 50 gallons. You must determine your stocking phases given that this isn't a massive tank for greater than the angels. I use a difficult consultant of 1cm of fish whilst grownup in keeping with litre or two" of fish whilst grownup in keeping with gallon. It's fundamental to make use of the scale that the fish will develop to whilst grownup to your calculation given that if no longer after they develop up you'll discover you're overstocked and your fish will undergo. However, larger fish cut down this capability particularly a little bit so at the same time you would theoretically have one hundred inches of fish to your tank if you're speaking approximately angels the scale of territory that they desire comes into play. I might handiest hold one pair of angels on this tank. Post once more and let us know what occurs. Trevor
