Very much so. If you are doing anything on line that your partner would not approve of then it is cheating.

absolutely! the feelings are the same, it leads to the same conclusion (well, you know I only know what others "say") but why not. plus on-line sex tends to lead to something more, and if you decline, regardless of how respectable and tactful you were in doing it, it's going to lead to the demise of the relationship. you'll find yourself in a position where you want to go back to a point in the activity that you can't get back to, or wish perhaps you could take it there. on-line is dangerous to begin with because it engages a part of someone that they normally wouldn't bring out until much, much later in the relationship, like yesterday, so naturally you're setting yourself up for something to happen in real life. haven't been on-line in so many years; honestly, you should really think about whether or not you're prepared to deal with that possibility for real life before you even go there.

In short, Yes I do. Its happened to me throgh my last two partners and it made me feel sick to the stomach. To me, a marriage or partnership has to be built on trust. If theres no trust, then why bother. Its cheaper to just have a boyfriend/girlfriend if you dont want to commit completely. I dont condemn anyone for doing it, I just dont want it in my life. I think that there must be a reason for someone to want to have cyber sex, ie something missing in their relationship, or needs spicing up etc. So if thats the case, then deal with it. A real person that you can love and share your deepest secrets and darkest desires with is so much more satisfying. ANd if youre in the wrong relationship, then be strong enough to deal with that too and end it if needs be. Theres no point in lieing to yourself, a lie is a lie no matter how lovely it may be.
I do hope you find happiness in whatever way works for you but please dont hurt that someone in your life just for a few minutes of pleasure. DO the right thing please :)
Best of luck.

Here's the answer, tailored to every person:
Would you want your spouse doing it?
If you're OK with stuff like this in the relationship, then it's not cheating. If it would upset you if she did it, it's cheating. If you're hiding it, it's cheating. If she has expressed that she believes it's cheating, then it's cheating.

Yes I do. Any time the other person gets emotionally or physically involved with someone other than their partner it is cheating. I think it's a disgusting and embarrasing way to cheat on your partner.

Not cheating, but you are having a emotional attachment to this on line person, and that's not doing anything good for your marriage, if you want to stay married then stop the on line crap it'll only put a barge up between you and your spouse.-I had a on line husband, we are separated...

Not really cheating, just disrespectful to your partner if they don't know. There are couples out there that enjoy reading their partner talk with someone else like that, just like couples who like to watch porn together it's all along the same lines.
