I am 5 months pregnant (21 weeks on friday) and just hate waiting a whole month to go to the doctor, I always worry something will go wrong in such a long period of time. All my tests and ultra sounds have come out perfect, I am feeling her move, but I find myself worrying all the time. Anyone else feel this way?

That's how I've felt with both of my pregnancies. My son is 2 and I'm 35 weeks currently. It's hard not to worry about every little thing, I've found that during those long stretches between Dr. visits that reading up on my pregnancy in books and on babycenter.com and other websites helps me. Don't worry though, soon enough you'll be going every 2 weeks and eventually every week like me. By that time you'll probably be sick of your Dr. ! ha ha Good luck and Congratulations!

This is natural, that you would worry, but really hun it is Ok remember there was a time when people did not see a doctor hardly at all. things that you can do to ease your anxiety is just talk to other women you know around you who have had babies, and then pay close attention to what is going on with your body and the changes. Make sure you have your little books to read, and of course you know that if the least little thing goes wrong you can go to the emergency room. It will be OK a lot of people feel this moment and with good reason. This is a womans most vulnerable time, but you have to try to keep from worrying so much because it is not good for the baby.

The first visits are every 4 weeks but as you hit the 32 week you will start to go every 2 weeks. At 36 weeks you will go once a week until delivery. So don't worry they are taking good care of you and as long as you feel her movements and are feeling normal, for a pregnancy then there's nothing to worry about. Anyways you can call the doctors office at anytime if you feel something is wrong. Your visits are every 4 weeks right now because you have a healthy pregnancy, be thankful!!

I'm with you. With my son, I had no problems at all. With this one, though, I've been fighting depression, anemia, a racing heartbeat, and anxiety.
I actually DO wish I could go to the doctor every two weeks. lol

it does seem like it is to far apart, but if you think about it, if something doesnt seem right or feel right you can always go in early, i have done that a few times.
