Yes it will stay open and without it being used it will close itself after so many days.

It will deactivate where it deletes everything in your inbox after (30/60/90) I think, days.

we surely hope that doesn't happen any time soon, but i would suggest you make out a living will, and distribute your hard earned points to your fave Y!A people here. you can't take them with you, at least to the best of my knowledge.
