I've never changed the mirror on a 206, but all the cars I have the method was the same (easiest to do with the window down and door open):

Carefully, with a flat screwdriver, unclip the small plastic trim panel on the inside of the door next to the mirror. Behind this there will be an electrical connection to the mirror, which you unplug, and three bolts which hold the mirror on to the car. As you undo these bolts, the mirror comes off (so you'll need to hold it as you take the bolts out).

Then you can bolt on the new mirror, refit the electrical connector, and refit the plastic internal trim panel.

Some cars have a "tweeter" speaker in the internal trim panel. If so, be careful not to damage it or its wiring.

if its just the glass then thats easy enough to replace youself.i know from expwerience. if its the casing as well that has the electric function for adjusting it then you may be better to get someone else to do it thats qualified because you can end up blowing fuses for all sorts. Depending on how talented you are at fixing things you could try with a haynes manual. If youn opt to put it into a garage dont go to a peugeout garage as you pay top whack.independant garages do the job just as good

hi.
what you have to do is get a screwdriver and remove the mirror glass carefuly or youll get 7 yrs bad luck . then you should find a screw that holds the mirror to the panel. then take it off and fit the new one. or if you want to get the job done quicker smash the old mirror with a nice big hammer and the undo the screw and change it. haynes does NOT cover wing mirrors they just tel you how to do mechanical work. i have one for my car and i think its ****.
good luck
