That's just a list of some commonly known diseases. You can start from there and maybe look a couple of them up on wikipedia; wikipedia also usually has a source on the bottom of the pages that has a list of links to websites about the topic you've searched for.

Just search on www.wikipedia.com about viruses. Well viruses actually are composed of nucleic acids which could either be DNA or RNA but never both. Viruses cannot live on its own and it needs a living cell for it to survive and reproduce. Once it is inside th cell, it takes over the contrl of the cell by incorporating its intructions written on its nucleic acids(RNA or DNA). Then it will be able to reproduce using the cell's machinery. Some popular viruses are HIV, Herpes, Varicella-Zoster, Adenovirus, Cytomegalovirus, Epstein-Barr virus, Dengue Virus. Choose Varicella-Zoster which causes chickenpox becuase it is easier. Don't choose HIV bcuase it is kinda complicated. Good luck!

Why not try wikipedia. Its pretty good for everthing i use.
