id rather go down with honor as a hero so that those after me can adorn and admire me, i can take the pain, after all i AM goin to die anyways

Peacefully in my sleep of course. It's a blessing to die that way. I think a painful death is probably one of the worst fates any human being can face. Great question.

My first instinct is to answer, peacefully. The only way I would choose a painful death: if my demise were through protecting someone ie: one of my sons. Then there would be no question which I would choose.
