She is such a mess - rough as old boots. When she sings properly she has a good voice. The problem is she is never sober or clean enough to be heard clearly. A couple of appearances on Jools Holland and she thinks she is as big as Areatha. Shame.

Amy Winehouse is one of those people that somethimes can look good and sometimes can look bad.
I do admire her though, she has her own style and doesn't care what people think about it.
That's the way it should be.

amy's music is amazing, who cares what she looks like, i happen to love her wild look! IMHO she is one of britains most talented singer/songwriters, very honest in her lyrics and very funny too! if people aren't gonna listen to her music because of the way she dresses or cos she likes a drink or too, then more fool them, theyre the ones missing out on pure joy! if we stopped listening to music for an artists appearance, then where would we be, do you catch my drift? music is music, not image! rant over!

Of course you have every right to your opinion - but how damn shallow are you? So, she's not traditionally pretty, she is striking, has her own style and, most importantly, a great voice. Do we really want all our music stars to be vapidly pretty? Don't be so horrid and judgemental.
