and I can either read the page ie. phone number or get a photo type image of where an object is. My husband says he dosen't have this ability and doesn't understand it and I don't know what it is like not to have it.

That would be amazing to have that kind of memory. Can you look read a book for example, and then recall it and read the image word for word? If I said "page 10 of Tom Sawyer, lines 10-15", could you recall it to that level of detail?

I don't have a photographic memory..or else I would be a genius.. I am far from that trust me... However I do have the ability lets say.. of here is an example... (We were on a road trip... I asked my daughter, did you remember to clean your room like I asked you too.. her response yes.. I said are you sure... again she responded yes.. I said well I glanced in your room before we went on this road trip and if I can recall there was a blue sweatshirt, two pair of jeans, pull over jacket on your bed and a red pony tail on the floor... my daughter responded back with the pony tail was pink)

When I was that age people wore halter tops. No way would I wear one of those things now. Hot pants were in. My husband actually dresses the same way now. Except now he like cargo shorts. He thinks he is MacGuyver & he always fixes everything. If the table at the restaurant is wobbley don't worry MacGuyver will put a napkin underthe leg & no more wobbling. My husband always wore this pocket tee shirts. He won't use a pocket protector but he has had stuff in his pockets before anyone ever heard of that being the nerdy thing to do. Jeans came into fashion & they were actually very expensive. Remember Gloria Vanderbilt jeans? Yes, designer jeans were very expensive. Well, Gloria's son was not raised to live off of her money. He said that he raised like the words of the song "God bless the child who has their own?'. Ok BQ...who is Gloria Vanderbilt's son? (no checking the internet for the answer)
