The first sign would be a missed period. Unless you know you have unprotected sex and your stressing out so you know there's a possibility? If that's the reason the earliest test that you can get done is the blood test. You can get them done at doctor's offices (you'll need your parents insurance) or you can go to planned parenthood and everything will be confidential and will cost either very little or nothing at all. But if you think you can wait for you period then do so, if it doesn't show up some tests will cost ranging from $8-20.
Your choice, and stressing out will not help. It will prevent your period from coming! So try not to stress out so much, and also thinking that you might be will also make you think you have pregnancy symptoms as well.

You can buy a pregnancy test kit for about £ 10 in the supermarket. You just wee on a strip of paper and it tells you if u are pregnant.If you are you need to visit your GP right away who will give you lots of info.. Also tell your mum, who may act up at first, but will soon be helping you. Don't worry.
PS If you are not pregnant, ask your GP for the pill, and remember it takes abt 3 weeks before it works.

2 get test
3 get abortion... trust me given age this is best.
Adoption messes you up and often will mess up a future kid...
Many adopted kids end up in the foster system or abused ie raped or battered or treated less then bio kids over and over ending up some homeless addict, aids ridden junkie street hooker by your age.
Or if family nice still end up a mess when realise adopted messing up their fmily, themselves and yours when they track you down asking why abandoned. And a furthure hubbie if not expecting it may end up messing marriage.
Likewise you have the kid by by life as kids dont stop at 18, often still looking after them till twenties, paying their way throuh uni then travelling then out of trouble and with house prices stuck with you.
With no money, no partying, boyfriends, dating, no life, maybe no job as harder, or **** job as uni a major problem, always stuck with it etc...
Abortion if far better in the end... and its a foetus not a baby inside you... the quicker done the better...
Possibly now by a pill.
Ignore the evil relgious skum saying its murder... its not and Ill be they would be the ones calling the kid a bastard and you a whore or stlut or whatever, calling you a sponger deliberately getting pregnant for a house

You sound like a nice girl, who tried her best not to get pregnant with the pill, Only some little slip up somewhere and got unlucky as not educated enough with it.
Morality is about how you treat others... sex has f all to do about it.
Sex is about having someone to snuggle up with extra specail which is what you need right now to not feel so upset.
So tell mum, go docs, get it sorted and then have a good long word with them and those links I posted to you

Take an early response pregnancy test. it can tell you even if you're not late. And if you're not pregnant, wrap it up or get on birth control. Babies are a huge responsibility that you don't want at 17. Good luck with everything!

you would need to get a pregnancy test once your period is late. If you can't affoprd to buy one then go to your doctor for a test. He can't tell your parents but you should if the result is positive. If you are worrying about being pregnant the worry will make your period late too. good luck.

A PREGNANCY TEST. How do you know about sex and getting pregnant but don't know how to take precautions or how to check for pregnancy? did your mind switch off for those parts in sex ed?
Grow up and stop having sex until you have properly educated yourself! you won't be doing a baby any favours by having one now. Although if your already pregnant then it's too late! Get a test, go on the pill, STOP HAVING IRRESPONSIBLE SEX!!

wait until your next period is due but dont worry about it then if your period doesnt come tell your mum or a close female relative about it then get a test done or go to your gp and take a pee sample with you.

you may feel different. your breasts may show veins. you may be irritable.
take a test. their cheap. if there are two lines you are going to be a mommy!
i hope he is a good guy. If not you may want to review your options. If he is a quality person then you should have the baby.

If your extremely tired, feel nausea but you dont have to be throwing up..your breast get tender..just some major signs...but i would get a test thats the only way to be sure....

There are tests now that can detect this early go to your drug store and buy one and decide your future talk to a counselor.
