I'm sure it does not bother him. What bothers him is people making a big deal out of it.

I'm confused about all the arguements about whether or not steroid "users" should be in the hall of fame or not. Cooperstown was created as a museum for baseball. The definition of a museum is an institution that celebrates events (good or bad) in whatever topic the museum is fashioned for. To have a museum not include people because of something they might have done wrong, is to pretend like the event never happened. It would be like the Museum of Modern History creating a World War 2 Exhibit and forgetting to mention anything about Hitler.
He should be in the HoF because he was a part of the game and its history.

He does care cause its the HALL OF FAME, he might make it in but he has to know its gonna take him about four more years before hes gonna get his chance to get in, he broke records but his actuall numbers werent the best, in the past someone had better numbers then him just didnt break records and it took him 4 years to get in. and yeah im tired of people making a big deal it was obvious he wasnt getting in so who cares.

We're making a big deal out of because we gave him our support and cheered for him.

It sucks to have done that and have him to turn out to be this big phony loser. Be a man and tell the truth. I can deal with that a heck of a lot better than a coward who hides behind his lies.

For the record yes he cares, but deep down he knows he's not worthy and regrets what he did.

I think that in his head before the Steroid issue hit the fan he thought that with 583 home runs he would be a shoe in. People have been making a big deal about it since his testimony before congress. I'm thinking that it does bother him.

What a lot of you people who are calling him a cheater forget is, at the time he readily admitted what he was using (Nandro), and it was NOT banned by baseball at the time he was using it. It is banned now, but when he was using it could be purchased at any GNC by anyone in the country.

So how does one get accused of cheating, when the substance in question was not a banned substance, but instead perfectly legal and easily obtainable??

I'm sure he does care. I'm also sure he knows he screwed up by even being associated with steroids and is finding out it was not worth it.

HOF is validation of a career that will remembered for years. Its a legacy that will out live the player. Even Ripken says that he dreamed of bing in the HOF as a kid.
If you don't believe he cares, then you have NO idea.
