Did anybody notice the distinction that we were shown this week in the funerals of Gerald Ford (a wise man), James Brown (a foolish man) and Saddam Hussain (an evil man)?

Great observations!! I watched the entire ceremony(ies) on the final day for President Ford and bits and pieces of the previous days. Today, I have a much deeper respect for the man than ever before. I had no idea how selfless he was or how giving..........but, to me, the most revealing about the three is the quality of those participating in the ceremonies and the atmosphere that was generated. Regarding dignity, reverence, honor and love bestowed, President Ford's funeral rivaled those of President's Kennedy and Reagan.

Saddam Hussein was buried right away ,Gerald Ford in a week and as of today1/10/07 James Brown is at his home and not buried yet. Family and lawyers fighting over where to bury him.Where is the dignity in this ?How long are they going to keep him in his home?

Anna Nicole Smith took 39 days to bury her son Daniel & now James Brown's body is being paraded around the country.
He was supposed to be the "HARDEST WORKING MAN IN SHOW BUSINESS" now he is going to be known as "DEAD BODY WHO TRAVELED THE MOST MILES".

Doesn't anyone else find it creepy that were parading a dead body around the country for 2 weeks so people could see it?
