There is a spring loaded belt tensioner, You must remove the tension off the belt in order to replace it. Make a crude drawing of the belt routing just incase there is not a diagram of the routing for you. Once the old belt is off, hold the old and new belts together to make sure they are the same length. Be careful as the tensioners have powerful springs in them.

Release the tensioner by using a wrench that fits the large nut on the outside. Slip off the old belt, making sure the routing diagram is in place or draw the routing. Install the new belt.
