the picture and video shows that saddam had a big open woung under his chin,he looked like he was bitted up. so i was wondering did they hit him after he was hanged??

The rope would very probably have cut into his neck when he dropped. That's the most likely explanation.

Saddam was a large dude, and he was dropped through a hole in the floor with a rope around his neck, it is not uncommon for the rope to cause wounds from the body dropping through the gallows floor and hanging.

he wouldnt bleed after he died. the heart has stopped working and the blood starts to pool and coagulate within the body.

it could of been when he was dropped i watched the video of him being hung and you could even hear his neck snap...the person that was taping went up to the body and all i seen was him swinging back and forth with eyes open smiling. he got what he deserved!!!!!!!

Obviously, I wasn't there, but he could have bitten his lip or tongue when he was hanged. Also, rope burns bleed.
