I was considering getting my ears pierced for the 2nd time on each ear. I wanted to wear my engagement earings & another pair at the same time. I have diamond stud engagement earings that I only take off to clean- I wear them because I dont like the look of 2 rings on my wedding finger.. I am unsure about getting this done as I do not want to look cheap or tacky & I work in a legal ofice. What do you think?

it depends on where you are ..in the office..definitely not..but out with your friends or family sure...

I have 3 piercings on each ear. I don't think it looks tacky at all, it looks pretty classy, since I wear 2 pairs of silver stud earrings and a pair of diamond studs. I get compliments all the time.
I think you should definitely wear both pair at the same time. It looks very pretty and adds a little something to your regular single-pierced.

I don't think it looks tacky, epecially if the second pair is smaller than the first and ideally both pairs should not be dangling. Multiple piercings (on earlobes) is common enough now to have become mainstream- I've even seen women in their 60s with 2 earrings in each ear.

The only time it would look tacky would be if you wore to very eye cathing pairs of earings, it would be okay to whear something like studs and dangly earings at the same time though, so i say go for it

you can have 3 on the left ear, and two on the right. plus one at the top of the left. the key is really good quality earrings that do not tarnish. as you go up the ear go smaller with the earrings. i only wear my diamond studs 1k in the first hole and go smaller and smaller on the way up. keep them clean and tarnish free.

as long as you don't wear several hoop earings, thats fine. Studs always look classy!! I have 3 in one ear, 2 in the other and it is NOT a problem in my formal office.

I think if it's tastefully done, you're just fine! I'd probably refrain from wearing both if you're in a highly professional setting, though.
