He deserves it, although it won't happen.

The grounds? Exceeding his constitutional powers and undermining our system of checks & balances and separation of powers by:

1) Warrantless wiretaps.
2) Keeping Congress out of the loop, out of their proper supervisory role.
3) Violating Habeas Corpus.
4) Detentions without Due Process
5) Toleration of Torture/Renditioning
6) Extreme use of "Signign Statements" that say what parts of the law he'll enforce and what parts he'll ignore. He is to enforce ALL the law. This is making him a legislature.

No because he has done nothing wrong to be impeach and also because George W. Bush HAS NEVER LIED to the American People in any given ways.

Besides, the Atlanta Hawks of the NBA will win the NBA Championship before George W. Bush is impeached and since the Hawks are not favored to win the NBA Championship in 2007, Bush will NEVER BE IMPEACHED in 2007 or in 2008 (due to the Presidential Election and his last term in office).

Bush should not be impeached.

Why?

Why should he? Because he's an idiot? - that's not a good enough reason - Because he was misinformed about the situation in Iraq by his corrupt cabinet - maybe - but there all but gone - except for Chaney.

What's the alternative? - Who's going to step up and be president if we impeached Bush - I hope you don't think Chaney! If it's not Chaney then you've got Pelosi in as President - Bleech - forget it - I don't want to see that happening.

No let him run out his term, and elect a new president the right way.

The answer to that question has been given by the American voters in November / 2006; over 70 % wants Bush tried.

Oh, I would love to see him in jail. The guy has committed more "high crimes" than any president, well, ever. However, I'm not backing impeachment. He has two years left and I'm more interested in getting the Democratic party's platform passed. Impeachment would take our eye off the ball and jeopardize our presidential chances in 2008.

EDITED: Well, I can think of two big crimes right now: Violation of the FISA law and violation of the Geneva Conventions.

He has to commit a crime, and be convicted of the offence.

Since neither has happened he cannot be impeached.

yes. he has ignored the constitution in many different aspects, he lied to the american people mulitiple times, he needlessly invaded a country that posed no threat to the united states, and he gave no-bid contracts to his buddy's companies to rebuild the country he destroyed. thats a short list of the many possible reasons.
