2 dreams that keep recurring...
1. I am searching for and chasing someone that I can't see or catch and it makes me really sad in my dream.
2. I am pregnant(I have recently had a hysterectomy) and I can't go into labor in my dream.
What do these dreams mean? HELP!

the problem with dream interpretation is that every body has different meanings for things (i.e. Feathers= my grandmother)

Maybe this is your body's way of mourning the loss of your ability to bear children. This is just your mind coming to terms, maybe there are some feelings and doubts you had before having the hysterectomy. Think about it emotionally and feel your feelings. Often times we do things logically for "the best" and don't take time to really listen to what are emotions tell us.

Good luck.

They seem related. You may be having sad thoughts about the recent surgery which is causing your sub-concious to react in feelings of saddness and inadequcy. I would say because you are no longer able to have children, you are chasing someone (pregnancy) and you never catch it (because you'll never be able to get pregnant again) and it makes you sad. Also, the fact that you cannot go into labor, but are pregnant seems to me to be that you dream of being pregnant, but because you know you can't truly be, you can't actually "have" (labor) the baby into life. Sorry if this seems blunt, but that's what they would seem to mean to me.

I think the first dream is about an unachieved goal or expectation.

The 2nd is probably just your mind processing the fact that you had a hys.

Even if you're happy you had it done, it's a major event and your mind is just sorting it out while you're asleep.

Most women, even though they don't want more, or any, children, still have a hard time coping with the fact that it isn't even an option anymore. Especially if the hyst. wasn't a 'choice' I hope it gets better.

Sounds like your subconcious trying to work out feelings that you may be having about the histerectomy and the fact that now that you've had it, you won't be able to have any more kids.
