I am 29 and I was messed around with when I was very little and when I married a virgin and was very upset that I could not give that something special to him. Tell your friend that is something so precious and she should cherish it. And it is better with someone you love.

I would start off by saying that the idea of not being a virgin in high school is overrated. It quickly leads to rumors about "being easy" and some unkind nicknames. Some boys will attempt to date her because they know she will probably go all the way with them - and at that age, you can easily be used and then dumped. Also, writing letters to your friends at that age about missed periods is not fun! Neither is taking care of a crying baby or trying to finish school while having morning sickness or trying to support your new family on wages made by high school drop-outs or even just having your parents find out about you having sex. I'm not advocating waiting until marriage - I'm advocating waiting until you are out of high school. Take the time to be innocent now and enjoy the small things like kissing. It's like reading a story and jumping from the first chapter to the last 3 pages - take the time to enjoy the part in the middle.

Plenty of guys lie about their sexual experiences...why not the ladies? Ideally, she would say "I'm waiting till I'm ready because I'm an independent-minded person and I don't care what anyone thinks." But she's 15, and we know that will never work. So, she can make up a college sweetie, a gorgeous guy from Cancun on spring break, etc. Someone far away who can't bust her in a lie...Then when she says she's saving herself, it can ostensibly be for this "guy" - which isn't as dorky as saving yourself just because. If she's dead set on having sex, take her to the county Women's Health Clinic, Planned Parenthood, etc. She should take every precaution she can.

find a good time to talk with her openly.. Be honest.. Tell her how you respect her and you care about her actions, reputation, etc.. If she doesn't care, you need to find friends that have your same morals, values, etc.. Remember birds of a feather flock together.. Not saying you are having sex but you will be judged by the company you keep.. protect yourself too.. My daughter is 16 and she had the same problems too.. My daughter chose to walk away from the friendship because her friend chose to be wild..A lot of people kept asking my daughter why she hung around this girl if she wasn't like that..They told my daughter that she is more valuable than that and to chose better friends.. She took their advise.. Good luck....

Tell her that shes just degrading herself by doing that and that going around saying that ur not a virgin actually makes you look like a s*** at her age. Be assertive that she is a teen as is likely to get fiesty so just tell her youre worried about her and youre just trying to do help her do whats best for herself :)

Tell her to tell everyone it is none of their business. Or lie about it. That's better than having sex at 15!

There should be pride in being a virgin. (unless shes 30)
I think you and a group of friends who agree with you should all tell her.

If she's a friend, you should have a fairly good means of communication between the two of you. Approach her privately and tell her your concerns as a friend. If your friendship is a good one, she should listen to what you say!
