A place for simple life?

I live in LA and want to move to a place where life is easier and simpler, that includes:
- lower population
- lower cost of living
- race is not an issue
- friendly people
- animal friendly
- lots of natural resources
- cheap housing and lands
- less illegal aliens

do you have any recommendation?

Move to the Yukon (Canada).. It has all of that... if you're willing to put up with the snowfall.
