What is the earliest that someone has taken a pregnancy test, gotten a positive result, and it was correct? Please give me honest answers. Some people get on here and just like to post really hypocritical answers and that's not what I am looking for.

Three days before my period was due. My periods have been like clockwork, and the symptoms also. But with my second child I didnt feel the usual symptoms. So I took a test 3 days before I was due for my period. It was faint, but it was there. And it was first morning urine. So be sure to do it first thing in the am, if you do choose to take one early. And make sure its really close to your time for your period. Your HCG levels multiply daily for the first few months. So, heres my serious and honest answer. Good luck.

I know the tests say that you can get a positive result several days before your missed period, but I didn't get a positive until about 2 days after. If you read the small print on the box it tells you what percentage of women are able to get a positive result that early, and it really isn't that many people.

I have very irregular cycles but going by the first ultrasound I had, I had my first positive on a home test at what had to have been 4 or 5 days before my period would have come. This was with my second. With my first I did not even test until I was in my 4th month because I had no clue I may even have been pregnant. lol

I got my earliest correct positive the day before my period was due.
I know a lady who took a test at 8 days post ovualtion (about 6-8 days before hers was due) and got a correct positive.

I took one 3 or 4 days before I had missed my period came back positive and I have a baby girl.
