I was just wondering if there were any other people out there who have been treated badly by Nob Hill Apartments in Houston Texas. I have only lived there a few months and in those months they have done nothing to make me feel at home. For Christmas we had a gas line break or something (they wouldn't tell me the full story) and they took three days to fix it. So from December 23 to 26 residents had no heat because management was too busy enjoying their christmas in a nice warm house. They did nothing to compensate residents for this inconvience and said they will do nothing. Now, they have sent out a very rude notice telling us many things...one of them being "put away your xmas decorations" immediately. Where do they come off being so high and mighty? Why do they have no respect for residents? How can they get away with this? If you are thinking of or do live in Nob Hill apartments I suggest you leave as they care nothing for residents...only their interests are important.

Hi
Yes I do live in Houston, fortunately for me, not at the Nob Hill Apts.
Sounds like the residents had to endure a tough few days there with no heat .. Do you know if they were trying to fix the problem ? Or were all the maintence people off for the holiday weekend.. You should really check into this .. The manager's usually don't care about the residents, but I will tell you I would go to hcad and see who the owners are and sent them a letter ..

Let Then Know How You Feel

I'm sure they are aware there was a problem there from the 23 rd to the 26 th , but they might not be aware of how RUDE the managers they have put in charge of their complex are ..So I would sure fill them in on this
THE SITE TO GET THE TRUE OWNER AND ADDRESS::
GO TO www.hcad.org -- press records-- enter the address, it had to be listed .. check on the left hand of the page for the mailing address name and or corporation of who owns this property , the right side of the page will just show the apartment address itself ..and sent them a letter ...

Hope This Helps

Good Luck ..

Next time contact the media. Don't wait weeks later to tell us what happened. On December 24 you should have placed a call to the local media to make the situation known that residents were residing without heat (during Christmas). The media loves a story like that and being the holiday season they would have ate it up.

As far as the Xmas decorations request - that is normal. Any maintained property will place a stipulation on how long Xmas decorations can be visible. I mean really - its January 11th - why are you still sporting the Xmas lights anyway? Properties have to enforce this type of rule otherwise residents would take advantage of the situation and have lights up until July.

If I was you. I would go to my local housing authority and see if they would be able to help you. This is something that they have to fix and they have to with in a few days fix that. That is something I woul be pissed off about. I would look into the local housing authority.

Call or write the management company, as well as the property owner.
