He is so overwhelmingly unpopular that every speech and every public appearance must be carefully controlled to ensure that his audience consists of supporters only. Otherwise, he'd be humiliated and mercilessly heckled.

This is a speech, not the State of the Union Address. There will not be standing ovations and I doubt there will be a question and answer session after the speech.
I would hope that an adult, such as yourself, that you are not implying that behavior like that you have mentioned should be acceptable while be addressed by any public official let alone the leader of our country..
You want to be given a fair chance to present your views with respect. President Bush should be given that same courtesy.
Try opening your mind and listening to what the man has to say, you may just hear something that makes sense.
I for one do not hold any misconceptions that President Bush is going to say anything tonight that is going to make everything better in Iraq overnight but as an adult I am willing to listen to him and make an informed decision as to whether or not I am going to support his plans.
You are an adult too. Act like one.

Perhaps at old Veterans Stadium in Philadelphia, they booed Santa Clause there!
Boos to cheers would probably be 70% booing based on the Bush approval rating, and the 78% dissatisfaction with the war.

Karl Rove would never permit Bush to appear in such an arena. If he did the audience would be hand picked the questions would all be written ahead of time for Bush to know the answers.

This type of question lets the imagination to go wild :)
So many possibilities, so much fun for the majority.
A harrowing thought for the President's handlers and the President of the United States of America, George Walker Bush himself.

No.
I think his speech tonight will be the most listened to presidential speech of all times. Everyone in the country is eagerly waiting to hear the new plan for Iraq. And everyone is looking for hope in a new direction. How his address is received will depend on its content. I think for the most part, Americans want to leave Iraq better than before we invaded it. If his new plan has any hope of achieving that, the people will be behind him,

That is precisely why Bush never speaks to the American people. His handlers only allow hand-picked stooges to his appearances, the dumber the better.
