I did that for a few days and didn't get a single email! And I've heard people getting hate mails so it depends on what you've answered and what you've said.

Allowing e-mails is no problem, at least not for me. People can only e-mail you through this site. They don't have access to your personal e-mail address unless you give it to them.

If they take the time to email you, they're usually serious. Trolls can annoy 1000 people with a stupid question but only one person with a stupid email.

I just opened mine a few weeks ago. I was scared too. Really though, I have only gotten a few emails and they were to say thanks for 10 points. Don't be scared.

I think people get so wrapped up in questions and answers that they dont think to email. I have never been anyways.

i have always had email contact and nobody emails me even tho it would be nice once and a while
