Water at normal temperature becomes vapour, this vapour has a pressure called vapour pressure.Vapour pressure increases with temperature since more water molecules becomes vapour at higher temperature. When the vapour pressure of the water is the same as the atmospheric pressure, it boils.
Pure water molecules have different energy distribution. the molecules at the surface which have high energy will escape as vapour. When salt is added to water, it bonds the water molecule at the surface together so that less molecule has enough energy to escape as vapour, therefore vapour pressure drops and higher temperature is needed to increase the vapour pressure to atmospheric pressure and boil it.

You add something more to the water so more energy is needed for the water to be boiled as it has something extra in it to boil

salt make a solution with water which decreases the boiling pt. Which make water to boil quicker with salt in it!
I hope this helps!!
