Nope. It'll just remain the same. But people's heads will turn to see where the light is coming from and notice who you are. So blowing out my candle will be fine. Sometimes you have to extinguish something that stands in your way. Or.... you could "maybe" keep my candle lit... and let it be the pathway to others discovering the illuminating person that you are.

NO and it will make me sad, the only way to shine brighter is to get closer and join all candles together and let our light shine before men!
