Medicine is a manmade creation and practice. The foreskin is a creation of nature. It wasn't created to fulfill some manmade medical function. It was created to fulfill a function in nature. And that function is to create mind-blowing, ecstatic sex for both the man and the woman so that they'll have sex often and create lots of babies. Nature is very much into reproduction of its species.

Because the foreskin creates such delicious, enrapturing sex, it also helps to generate love between the sexual partners so they'll be encouraged to live together and take care of their child over its many years of dependency.

It protects the glans from rubbing on clothing and from trauma. But perhaps its greatest function is to provide sexual pleasure for both men and women. And it's a lot of fun to play with - no lube needed.
