I am the only arsenal supporter in my class. The other day my friends started boasting about liverpool and how they never lose or concede at Anfield and liverpool are higher than arsenal in the league. This happened before the FA cup match. Today when I went to see them they all seemed to be deaf when the subject of football was raised. Also I can't take another person saying 'We never stand alone or 'We never give up' again. i am not talking about. all Liverpool fans but just a few

Well, I hate that arrogance in football fans too. I am a liverpool supporter and love the club - at the moment we aren't doing so well, when considering teh success we had for 30 years or so - leading European and English football.....But I enjoy football, fullstop. A good game is a good game regardless who is playing.

Bill Shankly was once quoted (misquoted) as saying 'football isn't about life and death; it's more important than that...' This is used to excuse all kinds of behaviour, What Bill meant was that to the working classess - the koppites - Saturday at Anfield was teh highlight of the week - the catharsis - the release.

I don't thnk many poeple now can say that football is really all that important.

I'm not bothered about either teams but definitely Liverpool fans. And i'm not wishing I was a fan to be honest because then I'd just be a glory hunter like probably most fans ( not indicated ay anybody inparticular)

I'm an arsenal fan but I have to say that's pretty mean. When Arsenal lose badly, do you enjoy it when it gets chucked in your face?

the annoying thing is about them they are still going on about hilsborough disaster. yes, it was a tragedy and i do not condone the deaths of innocent people, but it was their own supporters fault in the 1st place, for pushing past the police and then bundling the crowd. i think its time for them to stop harping on about it and try to look forward to the future, not dwell on the past.
