Need help with a break up: My gf of 2 years said she needed space on the 1st, she said that she wants to ...
continue to date me, but doesn't want to say if we are still together or broken up when I ask her directly. She said she wants to limit communications and only go out once a week and see where it goes. She told me she is not sure what she wants. Yet she told her best friend that we were still together just taking things slow, starting over. If that is the case why won't she tell me that? What does she really want? How do I get her back? Do I go on dates with her or should I ignore her and hope she comes around?

You may not want to hear this but.... I would say she is interested in someone else. She may not be dating them seriously yet and that is why she is not willingly to let go of you yet but she is definently got someone picked out.

Well sometimes silly women want what they can't have (depending on her age and relationship experiences).
so that is an option ignore her... and when she ask's whats wrong tell her you thought you were just doing what she wanted. (This is crazy and will only drive yourself nuts waiting for her to catch on)....

2) Put your foot down and tell her enough with the silly head games. Either you are a couple or you're not and it isn't right of her to keep you in limbo -you have a life too.

3)Tell her you're just too confused, that you don't feel like you know how to make her happy and you don't know what her true feelings are b/c she tells you this and tells someone else that so therefore time is short and you're off to find yourself someone who does know what they want; that will give her much to think about!!!! and she'll be thinking wait one minute.... Unless she truely wants out of the realtionship and if thats the case it's better to let her go, it'll only get worse, find out first or try #2 &/or #3 then get on with the next one... After two years it seems like she would know what she wants by now.... Best of luck to ya'!

Ask her directly. She wants space so give it to her. Either she is with you or she is not. Stay or go, no in-between. You don't deserve to be put on standby after two years. She is trying to end the relationship slowly. You end it if you have to. I know it hurts but it will hurt more when after a year of stringing you along and giving you false hope she suddenly dumps you.

You deserve better. If she won't give you a straight answer, you cut it off. That's probably what she want anyway. She's just too chicken to give you the courtesy of the truth.

Maybe she's being honest. Has she given you reason not to trust her? If she truly wants to take time to figure out what she wants, let her, but be there for her when she needs you. Just give her the space that she needs. Don't ignore her for sure. If you are really what she wants, she'll come around.

It sounds like she wants to break up, but is willing to string you along until she finds something better. Have some self respect, and move on. Don't go on any more dates with her, or try to get her back. You'll just look desperate, and that will turn her off even more. Find someone who really wants to be with you, not just until something better comes along. Good luck.

I know you asked this question to ladies only. However, you need to hear it straight: She don't like you anymore and this very minute, she is trying to nurture the beginning of a relationship with another fellow. Move on.

You do realize that if someone better comes along, you will be out on your rear??? She is shopping but keeping you around just in case nothing better comes her way. Get rid of her, this is not going to go well for you if you don't do what is best for you NOW!!!!

She wants her freedom, but wants to keep you on the side incase she decideds she wants you back. Tell her to make up her mind so you can move on.

Watch what you she is doing, don't listen to what she is saying. Is she spending lots of time with you? Are you dating? If not, it might be time to move on.
